PART 02 YMIN UAV ESC and Flight Controller Capacitor Solutions

1) ESC – Electronic Speed ​​Controller

UAV ESCs have long faced two major engineering challenges: ① Rapid heating of lead solder joints under high current flow, reaching temperatures as high as 237℃ in extreme conditions, posing a risk of capacitor pin meltdown; ② Extremely limited space in high-density layouts, making traditional large-size capacitor solutions unsuitable.

YMIN has launched the LKF/LKM series pin-fuse protection solution to address these challenges. By optimizing the lead structure and implementing a low ESR design, the lead solder joint temperature is reduced from 237℃ to 117℃ (a temperature rise/fall of 120℃), fundamentally eliminating the risk of solder meltdown. This solution also supports PIN-to-PIN replacement of equivalent Japanese products, with a single-unit ripple current exceeding 5500mA, meeting the stringent requirements of UAV ESCs for high current, high reliability, and high power density. 2) Flight Adjustment – ​​Waypoint Flight Parameter Adjustment

UAV flight adjustment requires rapid response to transient power fluctuations such as motor start-up and sharp turns. YMIN’s multilayer polymer solid capacitor solution offers advantages such as ultra-low ESR and miniaturization, enabling rapid charging and discharging to stabilize power supply and precisely control the aircraft, meeting the demands of high-frequency, high-load flight.

1) Joint Actuators

Every precise turn and instantaneous start/stop of a robot joint involves an “invisible electrical game.” Facing the space constraints and stringent real-time requirements of highly integrated designs, YMIN’s capacitor solution in the joint actuator controller uses ripple suppression to stabilize voltage pulses and instantaneous high current response to peak power demands.
