The MDP(X) series metallized polypropylene film capacitors utilize advanced metallized polypropylene film technology to provide stable and reliable DC-Link solutions for modern power electronics systems. These capacitors offer excellent electrical properties, long life, and high reliability, making them widely used in demanding applications such as new energy, industrial control, and automotive electronics.

Product Features and Technical Advantages

The MDP(X) series capacitors utilize metallized polypropylene film as the dielectric, are molded and encapsulated, and filled with epoxy resin (compliant with UL94V-0 standards), exhibiting exceptional performance. These capacitors offer a rated voltage range of 500V-1500V DC, a capacitance range of 5μF-240μF, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 105°C (within the 85°C-105°C range, the rated voltage derates by 1.35% per 1°C increase in temperature).

These capacitors feature extremely low dissipation factor (0.0002) and self-inductance (<1nH/mm lead spacing), ensuring excellent performance in high-frequency and high-ripple current applications. Its insulation resistance is greater than 10,000 seconds (20°C, 100V DC, 60 seconds) and it can withstand a withstand voltage test of 1.5 times the rated voltage (10 seconds, 20°C ± 5°C).

Reliability and Durability

The MDP(X) series capacitors have a design life of 100,000 hours (at rated voltage, 70°C, and a hotspot temperature of 85°C) and a failure rate of less than 300 FIT, demonstrating excellent reliability. The products support a variety of overvoltage conditions: 1.1 times the rated voltage (load duration 30%/day), 1.15 times the rated voltage (30 minutes/day), 1.2 times the rated voltage (5 minutes/day), and 1.3 times the rated voltage (1 minute/day). Furthermore, overvoltage conditions equal to 1.5 times the rated voltage for 30ms are tolerated 1,000 times over their lifetime.
