ODCC Exhibition Concluded Successfully
The 2025 ODCC Open Data Center Summit concluded in Beijing on September 11th. Throughout the exhibition, the YMIN Electronics booth maintained a positive atmosphere for technical exchange. We held multiple rounds of practical discussions with technical representatives from companies such as Huawei, Inspur, Great Wall, and Megmeet regarding the bottlenecks and requirements of capacitor applications in AI data center scenarios, focusing on the following areas:

High-end international benchmark replacements: These include products benchmarked against Japan’s Musashi’s SLF/SLM lithium-ion supercapacitors (for BBU backup systems), as well as Panasonic’s MPD series multilayer solid-state capacitors and NPC/VPC series solid-state capacitors, covering a wide range of applications including motherboards, power supplies, and storage protection.

Server Power Supply: Efficient Conversion and Stable Support
① For high-frequency GaN-based server power supply architectures, YMIN has launched the IDC3 series of liquid horn capacitors (450-500V/820-2200μF). While significantly improving input voltage and shock resistance, their compact design, with a diameter of less than 30mm, ensures ample space in server racks and provides greater flexibility for high-power density power supply layouts.
② The VHT series of polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitors is used for output filtering, significantly reducing ESR and improving overall system efficiency and power density.
③LKL series liquid aluminum electrolytic capacitors (35-100V/0.47-8200μF) offer a wide voltage range and high capacitance, adapting to power supply designs of varying power levels.
④Q series multilayer ceramic chip capacitors (630-1000V/1-10nF) offer excellent high-frequency characteristics and high voltage resistance, effectively suppressing EMI noise, making them the optimal choice for resonant capacitors.
Server BBU backup power supply: Ultimate reliability and exceptionally long life
SLF lithium-ion supercapacitors (3.8V/2200–3500F) offer millisecond response times and a cycle life exceeding 1 million cycles. They are over 50% smaller than traditional solutions, effectively replacing UPS and battery backup systems and improving power supply reliability.
This series supports a wide operating temperature range (-30°C to +80°C), a service life exceeding 6 years, and a charging speed 5 times faster, effectively reducing total cost of ownership and providing high-power density and highly stable backup power for AI data centers.
Server Motherboards: Pure Power and Ultra-Low Noise
① The MPS series multilayer solid capacitors offer an ESR as low as 3mΩ, effectively suppressing high-frequency noise and keeping CPU/GPU voltage fluctuations within ±2%.
② The TPB series polymer tantalum capacitors improve transient response, meeting the high-load current demands of AI training and other applications.
③ The VPW series polymer solid aluminum electrolytic capacitors (2-25V/33-3000μF) maintain stable performance even at high temperatures up to 105°C, offering an exceptionally long lifespan of 2000-15000 hours, making them a perfect alternative to Japanese brands and ensuring high reliability of the motherboard power supply system.
Server Storage: Data Protection and High-Speed Read/Write
① NGY polymer hybrid aluminum electrolytic capacitors and LKF liquid aluminum electrolytic capacitors provide ≥10ms hardware-level power loss protection (PLP) to prevent data loss.
② To ensure voltage stability during high-speed read/write operations on NVMe SSDs, the MPX series multilayer polymer solid aluminum electrolytic capacitors provide an excellent solution. This capacitor features an extremely low ESR (only 4.5mΩ) and boasts a lifespan of up to 3,000 hours, even in high-temperature environments of 125°C.
These products have been mass-produced in multiple real-world projects, meeting stringent requirements for high power, high stability, and high density.
