Shanghai Yongming Successfully Concludes the Thematic Conference “Intelligent Manufacturing · Powering the Future” — Focusing on Robots, Drones and Motor Drives, Full-Link Capacitor Solutions Empower a New Era of Intelligent Drive

Foreword

On September 16, Shanghai YMIN successfully concluded its “Intelligent Manufacturing: Driving the Future—2026 Conference on Robotics, Drones, and Motor Drives (Capacitor Applications).”

The conference focused deeply on three core application sectors—robotics, drones, and motor drives—covering end-use scenarios such as smart mobility, power tools, smart home appliances, servo/variable frequency drives, cleaning appliances, and industrial motors. It provided a comprehensive overview of selection strategies and solutions for YMIN’s diverse product portfolio—including liquid aluminum electrolytic capacitors, polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitors, polymer tantalum capacitors, hybrid (solid-liquid) capacitors, and supercapacitors—addressing requirements for high-precision control, high power density, high reliability, miniaturization, and domestic substitution. The event brought together end-customers, chip solution providers, and industry technical experts to jointly explore the future of intelligent drive technology.

① Manufacturing as the Foundation, Solutions as the Wings

On the morning of the conference, attendees visited the YMIN Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, touring key areas such as incoming material inspection, supercapacitors, solid-state capacitors, hybrid capacitors, and the testing laboratory. From raw material screening to finished product testing, customers observed YMIN’s fully automated production lines and digital quality control systems firsthand, witnessing the company’s continuous upgrades in manufacturing capabilities and quality assurance. Through on-site explanations and interactive Q&A sessions, customers gained a more tangible sense of trust in YMIN’s closed-loop quality assurance process, which spans the entire lifecycle from design and production to delivery for its automotive-grade capacitors. During the session, the YMIN technical team delivered comprehensive presentations on their core product lines, including liquid aluminum electrolytic capacitors, polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitors, polymer tantalum capacitors, and supercapacitors:

Liquid aluminum electrolytic capacitors—highlighting core advantages such as high capacitance density, high ripple current tolerance, and long service life, making them suitable for the rigorous demands of industrial motors, servo systems, and variable frequency drives;

Polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitors (stacked/solid-state/hybrid)—showcasing outstanding performance in miniaturization, ultra-low ESR, and high-frequency response to meet transient power support needs in high-density circuit layouts;

Polymer tantalum capacitors—addressing extreme requirements for miniaturization and high reliability, and sharing selection insights for achieving high capacitance energy storage within confined spaces;

Supercapacitors—demonstrating critical value in applications involving high instantaneous currents, backup power, and power-loss hold-up, providing highly reliable energy storage solutions for robotic joint modules and drone flight control systems.

Through these topics, YMIN showcased a comprehensive capacitor portfolio covering the entire signal and power chain—from robotic joint drives and power supplies to electronic speed controllers (ESCs) and flight controllers—thereby achieving a complete closed-loop process from “application understanding” to “solution implementation.”

② Collaborative Presentations by Partners

We were also honored to invite several partners from across the industry supply chain to share their insights on-site. Representatives from end-application sectors exchanged practical experiences regarding capacitor selection and system matching, analyzing key considerations from the perspective of complete system design. Representatives from chip solution providers presented the latest schemes for efficient synergy between main control chips and capacitors, demonstrating successful practices in component matching and optimization. Meanwhile, industry technical experts shared cutting-edge progress on high-voltage silicon carbide (SiC) projects, exploring the collaborative application of capacitors and power devices amidst the industry shift toward 800V DC systems.

These three presentations formed a technical closed-loop spanning the selection, chip, and power stages, fully demonstrating YMIN’s ability to drive intelligent manufacturing in collaboration with supply chain partners, with capacitor technology at the core. ③ Conclusion

Looking ahead, YMIN will continue to deepen its focus on the application of aluminum electrolytic capacitors, hybrid (solid-liquid) capacitors, polymer tantalum capacitors, and supercapacitors in sectors such as robotics, drones, motor drives, and smart mobility. By addressing core requirements—including long service life, high-temperature resistance, high energy density, and miniaturization—we aim to provide capacitor selection support and solutions that are closely aligned with end-user needs.

Thank you once again for your visit and for the engaging discussion. We look forward to working together to drive continued breakthroughs in capacitor technology within the smart drive sector.
